With a community portal, you give your community a secure digital home. Everyone involved can work together in self-managed spaces, make their activities visible and network with each other. Whether as a social intranet for your organization or as a citizen platform for an entire region - together we will take the effectiveness of your community to the next level. Open source software made in Germany makes it possible.
We take care of installation, hosting and updates (SaaS). This means you can concentrate on communicating with your users and establishing new connections. We support you with training and support.
Whether cloud, chat, video conference, calendar or forum – our portals bundle these and many more features on one page. Your users only need one profile to collaborate and network effectively.
All groups and projects have an information page on which they can present themselves to the outside world. Other users can browse through the map of your portal or search specifically to make contact and network.
We adapt the functionality and design of your white label portal to your wishes. We can develop or integrate additional features if required. The domain of the website is freely selectable. If required, we also offer your portal as an Android and iOS app.
With our GDPR-compliant portals, which are hosted on German servers, you retain control over your data. Our open source software and internal processes also meet strict security requirements, which is confirmed by a TÜV certificate (ISO 27001).
More important to us than profit are the common good and our values: sustainability, digital sovereignty and transparency. That is why we are a Cooperative. As a portal partner, you can become a member and help determine our course.
We would be happy to introduce you to these different facets of a portal in more detail in a live demo.

In addition to these collaboration tools, our community portals offer numerous functions that allow users to network with each other and make their activities visible.
Whether association, umbrella organization, foundation or company:
For smart cities and all those who want to become one:
We would be happy to show you the structure and functions of our community portal upon request personally in a video call. But you can also test it on your own at wechange.de.
wechange.de is one of more than 20 community portals that we operate. Unlike the other portals, however, wechange.de does not operate on behalf of an organization or municipality, but rather we ourselves as a cooperative offer the platform directly and freely accessible to end users.
You can register for free on wechange.de to register and then a Create group. You can then invite your colleagues to the group to test the collaboration tools together. Or take a look at the Map, which other groups and projects there are in your area or on your topics on wechange.de.
Most functions of our community portals you can test it immediately on wechange.de. We will be happy to activate the few exceptions for you, if you let us know.
The costs for a community portal consist of one-time setup costs and monthly costs for hosting, support and updates. The amount of these two costs depends on which tools are integrated into your portal. If you do not need Nextcloud, Rocket.Chat, BigBlueButton, a WordPress landing page or the iOS and Android app, the costs are reduced.
The costs depend not on how many users, groups or projects your portal has. All of this is basically unlimited. So you can scale without stopping without incurring additional costs.
We are constantly developing or integrating new functions at the request of our portal partners. If a portal partner commissions and finances such a feature development, everyone benefits. We then activate the new function on all other portals - if requested. This solidarity approach means that all portals are constantly improving.
