Spotlight on powerful features
Nextcloud
Mit der Nextcloud haben wir die vermutlich beste Open-Source-Software zum Speichern, Teilen und Bearbeiten von Dateien in UniteOS integriert. Die Funktionen umfassen u. a. Volltextsuche, Datei- und Ordnerfreigabe (auch für Externe), Synchronisation mit lokalen Verzeichnissen (WebDAV), Kommentare, Versionierung, Aktivitäten-Protokolle und synchrone Echtzeit-Bearbeitung von Dateien im Browser (s. Collabora↓).
Jedes UniteOS-Portal ist mit je einer eigenen Nextcloud-Instanz verknüpft, die wir selbst hosten. Alle Daten bleiben damit auf unseren Servern. Die Gruppen und Projekte auf dem Portal haben in der Nextcloud je einen Gruppen-Ordner. Dank Single Sign On haben alle User automatisch ein Nextcloud-Konto, müssen sich also nicht separat anmelden.

Collabora
Our Nextcloud servers↑ are equipped with Collabora. The extension enables users to edit files directly in the browser. When several users edit a file at the same time, changes are synchronised in real time. Documents (.odt, .docx) as well as tables (.ods, .xlsx) and presentations (.odp, .pptx) can be created and edited. As Collabora is related to LibreOffice, the leading open source office suite, the editor has numerous functions for every file type.

RocketChat
By integrating the multi-channel messenger Rocket.Chat, users can communicate with each other in their groups or in private chats - via browser, desktop client or mobile app. Functions such as threads, conversations, mentions, reactions and full-text searches enable clear, effective and organised communication, even in large teams.
Jedes UniteOS-Portal ist mit je einem eigenen Rocket.Chat-Server verknüpft, den wir selbst hosten. Die Gruppen und Projekte auf dem Portal haben in Rocket.Chat je einen privaten Kanal, wobei die Mitglieder automatisch synchronisiert werden. Dank Single Sign On haben alle User automatisch ein Rocket.Chat-Konto, müssen sich also nicht separat anmelden.

BigBlueButton
With BigBlueButton, users can hold secure, high-quality video conferences on your portal. Features include screen sharing, collaborative whiteboards, external guests, recordings, phone dial-in, breakout rooms, rights management, meeting and private chats, shared notes, polls and virtual backgrounds. The servers are hosted by us in Germany in compliance with the GDPR. Thanks to single sign-on, users do not have to log in separately, but can join a room directly via the group dashboard.
Für größere Veranstaltungen wie Konferenzen oder Mitgliederversammlungen bieten wir zudem ein digitales Tagungshaus, welches die Funktionen von BigBlueButton um eine Konferenz-Umgebung ergänzt.

WordPress landing page
Der erste Eindruck zählt. Mit einer Landingpage bietet ihr Besucher:innen einen einfachen Einstieg in euer Portal. Auch ohne Registrierung können sich Interessierte auf der Seite über den Hintergrund, die Funktionen, die Zielgruppe und über euch als Anbieter informieren. Um einen Vorgeschmack zu geben, können ausgewählte Portal-Inhalte wie die Karte oder die öffentlichen Veranstaltungen bereits hier direkt angezeigt werden. Das Ziel der Landingpage ist es, für Suchmaschinen auffindbar zu sein und die Besucher:innen dazu zu animieren, sich zu registrieren und das Portal selbst zu nutzen.
